Prof Natalie Schellack

(BCur, BPharm; PhD) Prof Schellack is currently working as an Associate Professor and Course Leader: MSc (Med) degree Programme in Clinical Pharmacy in the Department of Pharmacy, Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University. She holds three degrees, two bachelor degrees (nursing and pharmacy) and a PhD in pharmacy. She is part of the editorial team of the Journal of Hospital administration (Canadian Journal), serves on the Gauteng Provincial Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, and Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences Research and Ethics Committee. Natalie is also the chairperson of the South African Society of clinical pharmacy. She has supervised 39 master’s degree students to completion and has served as an external examiner to the Universities of Witwatersrand, Kwazulu-Natal, North-West and Nelson Mandela Metropolitan. Prof Schellack has written over 60 publications in the last six years, her special interest is in pharmacotherapy induced ototoxicity and paediatrics. Natalie has overseen courses developed to educate pharmacists on ototoxicity and paediatrics and assisted in ototoxicity training for audiologists.
